About Us

I’ve been in the world of competitive high school robotics for over 20 years—first as a student on FRC Team 47, then as a mentor since 2003. In 2014, my team, FRC 469, won the FRC World Championship… the same year I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 32. I went through 16 rounds of chemo (yes, including the “Red Devil”), a double mastectomy, and reconstruction—without ever stepping away from mentoring.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2021, and I’m still here, still mentoring Team 469, and still choosing to live with purpose, creativity, and plenty of dark humor. This shop is my space to share that spirit—finding joy, strength, and laughter in the chaos.
